EDIT: Was able to test this laptop extensively, and never strongly wanted to snap a laptop in half out of sheer anger. Turns out the ARM64 compatibility is half the problem; the other half are the Windows drivers for ARM64. The WiFi is the primary victim to this, and I have dual EERO 7 whole home wifi and a 5GiG connection. I am only getting 5Mbps download and 1Mbps upload while all of my other devices, especially the Duet 3 Chromebook I picked up with this for $65, were getting at least 1Gbps on WiFi on the same spot. This troubleshooting cost me my night. I can't justify this machine for more than $200. The charger as well was rated 65W but was, for some inexplicable reason, slow charging (prompt says "slow charging"). I used my 65W USB-C charger from HP and that was the real deal. I also somehow got a Display model, and they had the BestBuy wifi recorded in it. Also sorry for those asking if I'm going to sell, I haven't sold anything in years, it's not worth the stress if anything goes wrong usually, and at these margins it's mostly break even at best. The ASUS bloat is real hell. They have a OneDrive clone that has a sus af ToS and you can't opt out of surrendering all of your rights to privacy. That is not why I'm returning the laptop but just insult to injury. Not sure if a clean install would work with the custom ARM64 drivers. But really holy hell am I angry right now.
But definitely around 10 hours doing normal stuff over multiple sessions. I've never used a laptop for 10 hours straight!
Regarding the screen -- it is a plastic screen and from the side, the reflections show some slight warping, unlike what you'd see on a glass screen. Also, the Windows Hello camera rarely works and I've set it up probably 6 different times and nothing changes it so I resort to PIN.
Other than that, great laptop. I paid $473 for OB-Excellent back in NOV 2024.
