The knife made from 3cr13 stainless steel is one of the softest steels knives are made from. It will sharpen up easily and take a good edge, but it will dull quicker than about anything on the market. One knife doesn't even tell you what kind of stainless it is made from, so assume it's about the same quality.

One of the knives is made from D2 semi-stainless steel, which is very hard and holds and edge very well. It's one of my favorite budget knife steels. It is only semi-stainless, which means no use around salt water or cutting of anything that is even slightly acidic or foods, unless you immediately wash, dry and oil it a bit. It's a great steel, but needs to be kept with a bit of oil on the blade to prevent rusting. Despite what the advert reads, there is no such thing as a rustproof knife steel. Keep your knives clean, sharp, lubed and wiped them down with an oily rag.

Overall, a great deal if the coupon works for you and you like the style of these knives. They are a bit too tacticool for me, but might be perfect for others.

Curious to know how tactical these knives are?

I purchased a tactical pant with an 18tpr (tactical pant rating), a tactical shirt, tactical watch, tactical boxers, and a brand new desert-tan toyota tundra, which is very tactical for school trips and grocery store runs.

Are these knives compatible with my tactically-oriented, tactically-adjacent, and general tough-guy cosplay lifestyle I am pretending to have?

Ugh, you're right.

Just for upping my toughness factor to reach the level of alpha / tactical lifestyle I'm trying to cosplay as, I'll be making a purchase.

First you'll need your tactical Tic Tacs and your tactical tablet for your tactical TikToks.

All three of those knives are clones of other knives. Don't support this crap.

Do not believe that MSRP. You will be three $6 knives at best and I doubt they are really worth that. Unknown quality gas station knives at best. Better known options can be had for not much more. Can get two of the Ozark Trail barlocks that have been well reviewed and went over for $20.

I don't care about the clone thing I care about the quality and it is not going to be there.

I hear you on the other stuff but as prveious sdmaistations old us down the river to China we are where we are. Hard to get upset about cheap knives when all out indusdtail, farming, medcal, pharmaceutical and even military equipment technology and designs were kind of given to them over many years starting in the early nineties with no penalty. Things might be changing but the American people did not do this it was American politicians, government and leaders.
