Had the Kobalt version of this and it was great for 6 years of cutting an uneven 1/3 acre. The mulching is insanely powerful and with 2 batteries you should be able to do 1/2 acre at once. Gave it to my friend as a house warming present and he's been using it for a year now.

Because it is 80V so the same as (2) 3.0 60V or (2) 4.0 40V or (2) 8.0 20V.

It's a good price but not an immediate must buy unless needed and already in 80V ecosystem.

I click the link and it's $519 now. Costco has it in store for $599 and looks like the same model. Should I buy from Costco now or wait for a sale?

Amazon = 2 x 2.0amp batteries
Costco = 1 2 amp and 1 4 amp battery
