I placed an order online for store pickup. Went in and picked up the headphones. Rep had problems getting the system to take the serial number. Eventually it did go through. These also were in a generic brown box and not the Apple box. When I went out to the car and took a closer look at the headphones the case was heavily scuffed and it did not match the "Like New - Excellent" condition. I also paired them to my phone and they had a warranty end date of 5/2/25, meaning these were already 9 months old. I had a weird feeling (after reading about knock offs here) and went back in and exchanged them for a different pair. The system again gave the Rep a hard time with the serial number of the pair I returned.
The rep brought out 2 other pairs that were listed in Like New Excellent condition and these both had their original box. The rep let me open one of the boxes and pair them with my phone. This paid had a date of 11/30/25 so much newer. I also was able to add apple care to bring the warranty out to 2 years from today. No problems with the second pair.
The ear tips were brand new on both and no signs of dirt or anything. Although it did only come with XS, S and L. I took my medium ones from my OG Pros.
