I'm a M43 shooter, but this lens price is absolutely insane. It's a re-badged Sigma at 2.5x the price with no meaningful modification done for M43, meaning it's HUGE compared to other telephoto lenses on the system. It sucks because Olympus glass is my favorite on any system and this is just greedy nonsense. At this price you can buy a nice used Olympus 300mm f/4 pro + 1.4TC and have the best wildlife lens around.

I think the difference between the Sigma and this is the Sync-IS, which works pretty well for OM system cameras.

Agree with you on the 300mm as an excellent lens; however, the ability to zoom is really nice to track moving things for me (like birds in flight)
