So many conflicting views on monitor tech. Having owned Va, ips and oled, oled is a step up but HDR for windows is an absolute joke. For example, hdr400 black or whatever is called on my Alienware is the best looking setting for windows. Yet my MBP looks amazing in hdr1000. It really comes down to the application of the monitor's input.

I believe it has a matte coating. There are other 34" ones without the matte but not sure if all of them are QDOLED. The LG is the only other one with this aggressive curve that I know of.

Motion clarity because of the insanely low response times on OLED is ridiculous. Going back to an IPS or VA feels like you're drunk while moving around in comparison. It's a blurry smeared mess

I reeeally wish there were more Mini LED Ultrawides. I just hate thinking about burn-in at all. The only decent mini led ultrawide I know of is the INNOCN on Amazon for sub-$500. I'd love to try that one out.

I'm happy it's game changing for you, but tbh just sounds like HDR is the bigger deal and miniled might be even better for that. Many of the games I play don't even use HDR, auto HDR sucks, Windows HDR sucks... etc.

This doesn't even make sense except for VA. The response time difference from 1ms to 0.1ms could only be possibly noticed with gaming at 240hz or higher, and even then it is doubtful. You would not be able to notice it at 144hz, watching movies, using the OS, etc.

I mean unless you're comparing super budget monitors vs OLED which is obviously an unfair comparison.
