With regard to the deal--this is barely better than buying direct from Patagonia, and Patagonia offers free shipping over $99. The only reason I'd go with this retailer is if the colors you want arent on sale on Patagonia's website.
Personally, I will wait. I picked up a 70L from a Patagonia Outlet over the summer for $80. I'd like a 55L in either Patagonia or TNF to use for stowing in the overhead on a plane. People will say 32L is the limit, but Ive put my 42L TNF duffel both overhead and under the seat. I'm next to positive no one will say anything about a 55L. Especially if you wear it as a backpack when you are getting on the plane.

Otherwise, this is an excellent duffle and I'm not afraid to use it how it should knowing that Patagonia backs it up.
I own the 40 & 55L Black holes because as a 1.5 bagger, I don't ever have to check them in the U.S. (I use different bags outside the States). But get your packing cubes to a) keep your stuff organized, and b) help you from overpacking.
And BTW, if you don't know how to repack them, here ya go:

I've taken this 55L as a carryon backpack (along with a normal backpack) on planes all over US, Caribbean, EU and never had a problem.
Sometimes I even have like 40-80lb of cables in it. No tears or anything yet.
