If you register, you'll get a free extra year warranty too.
If I cooked more often than I do, I'd buy this range.
I used to sell appliances and Samsung wasn't my favorite brand. But this is a good price for a slide-in Induction.
If you don't have pots and pans that are made from a ferrous metal (Magnet will stick to it) you will need to purchase those. Copper, aluminum will NOT cook on this top.

Buying from costco includes 2-year warranty, free delivery, installation, haul away of old appliance.
Could well be worth the $100 difference for many.

The basic formula is: Watts = Volts x Amps. The lower the Voltage, the higher the Amps needed to achieve your target Wattage, and vice versa.
Kind of leery about this since the top doesn't have a lip to catch liquids.

EDIT: unless you buy one those bizarre custom-made ones with a battery built in, but those are $6000 and i think they're made for cosplaying "trad wives" who want a modern oven in their old farmhouse and have money to burn

I got the Frigidaire Gallery induction back in July '23 for $1,331, model FGIH3047VF. Love it except for two things.
1) Control pad can kiss my arse. Such a pita trying to adjust temp on the fly.
2) User error and the range glass cracked
Hmm, $1k and get a 'fixed' induction with knobby knobs, but it doesn't match up with the matching FG microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. Hmm, wonder if my OCD can chill the f out. I'm an old fart and reluctant to go to even more 'smart' devices, but I gotta say, it'd be pretty awesome to be able to start the preheat of the oven on my commute home so it'd save me a good 10-15+ minutes. (or I could just be really smart and get a small 120v counter top oven toaster).

My favorite brands were GE (But I think Haier bought G.E. Appliance division). Whirlpool made products (Kitchenaid, Maytag) I own an LG double oven smooth-top (Standard burners) and it's been good for about 7 years so far.
