Looks like Amazon has price matched Menard's $4.48 price plus their $2.80 processing fee and their delivery is $8.99. Does Menard's have store pickup for this item or is this available in-store?

not a handy person. I just bought the bosch drill/driver set (the one for about $140 that was posted on slickdeals a few weeks ago). it didn't come with the bits. do these bits work for drills/drivers as well?

Click on the "Check another sore for availability" and it'll show stores near you. Unfortunately there aren't any close enough to me :-(

I own one, very good quality. Haven't broken even 1 bit using the impact driver despite they are not "impact rated". The bits are made of some hard alloy.

Yes it is available in store. I grabbed it off the shelf. This Amazon deal is definitely a good deal still since it's not in stock and not everyone is 2 minutes from a Menards like I am.

I don't own, but looks like they will fit in impact no problem - the issue is whether you want to or not - they're not impact rated. Rated to go into your driver

Since everyone else is saying they don't have issues, I guess I got a dud. I ordered this bit pack 5 years ago. The very first time I went to use a bit to remove some screws from a cargo trailer trim piece, it broke. It was a flat screw driver bit in a 18v Bosch 1/4inch impact driver. Setting was on low and it broke as soon as I pulled the trigger. Went to use another bit and that one broke as well. Both bits chipped off on the edge of the flat part. I guess that's the weak point. I grabbed a cheap dewalt bit set I had and put it in the same driver and was able to remove the screws without issue. I probably removed about 100 screws from the trim on that trailer with that bit. I was a Bosch customer at the time. Now I'm team red with all of my tools being M18 or M12. I will never buy another Bosch bit set again after that experience.

I have a similar set but exactly same but good stuff. I forget when I bought it but they still strong and I use them for everything. My case looks little different. I would recommend it. They fit really good impact driver and drill as well!

It seems a number of the reviews say they work fine for impact drivers. I just wonder how durable they will be over time before they start getting worn down.

I see a lot of square drive bits, which we don't use much in the USA, but they do in Canada, which is really the only thing stopping them from becoming the 51st state.
Making me want to sign up for Canadian armed forces (electrical engineering and computer science at a top 10 school)...

THANKS "BROTHER"!

"You people of the South don't know what you are doing. This country will be drenched in blood, and God only knows how it will end. It is all folly, madness, a crime against civilization! You people speak so lightly of war; you don't know what you're talking about. War is a terrible thing! You mistake, too, the people of the North. They are a peaceable people but an earnest people, and they will fight, too. They are not going to let this country be destroyed without a mighty effort to save it … You are rushing into war with one of the most powerful, ingeniously mechanical, and determined people on Earth — right at your doors. You are bound to fail. Only in your spirit and determination are you prepared for war. In all else you are totally unprepared, with a bad cause to start with. At first you will make headway, but as your limited resources begin to fail, shut out from the markets of Europe as you will be, your cause will begin to wane. If your people will but stop and think, they must see in the end that you will surely fail."
