It's a gym shoe. It's a cheaper alternative to the Metcon line.

Just an fyi, if anyone has a Nike factory store near them, there's an end of the season sale going on.

At my local one, there were Vomero 17s for $45, Metcon 9 for $45, Invincible 3 for $51. Sizes and colors and selection is YMMV but the factory store when they have these sales has some insane deals..Worth checking out if the drive is convenient.

I'm not sure if I got some lemons but my pair squeak nonstop. I thought it wouldn't bother me but after a couple months, I couldn't handle it anymore. Now I'm just looking for excuses to use them so I can wear them out.

I saw a review mention that and they said it got better with a new insole. Not saying they should squeak but you maybe can salvage them with another insole

Life up in the insole put in baby powder and put bCk in the insole.

The powder will fit in thr pockets and no more squeek(if its internal)

I hate to burst someone's bubble but the bubble in these shoes will burst. Had a pair of Air Max back in the day and while they were super comfortable, the air bubbles were not durable. They got punctured and leaked. Never bought another pair of Air Max since. But I do like their other models, especially the Metcon for doing lower body workouts.

For last 2 decades I've had multiple pair of air max shoes, of many different models, and only had the air bubble pop once. It's always a ymmv with that sort of thing. Right now my day to day shoe for the last 4 years is the Air Max 2017
