Got this or an earlier version of it sometime in 2017/18. It lasted about 6 years before the connection at the base sheared off. Just came to the vehicle and it had fallen. No way to repair that, either. I live in the American South, so there was definitely a lot of wild temperatures it had to endure. And 6-ish years of that is impressive.
Not sure if they are still as great, but I am repurposing it for home use with a 3D print. It may not be the way it was intended to be used, but it IS still working.
Definitely still using the car charger it came with. Unobtrusive little thing.

Absolutely love it. That mounting could be incompatible on some cars I imagine, but not mine.
