You may be correct now that I am reading the fine print on the PS GCs after your post. I swear I had some credit on my account a year or so ago when I purchased a DualSense Edge controller from the PS store and it deducted the credit on my account and charged the remainder on my credit card. Appreciate your clarification. My apologies.
Of course, now I want to try it out anyway to double check.

Good enough for me to finally pull the trigger on a PS Portal. Good timing as I am about to go on paternity leave. I can enjoy my games while my son occupies the TV lol

I paired it with the Helldivers Controller. I'm sure I can sell it for cost or possibly over retail if it sells out eventually.

As far as I can tell, it won't let you. I have funds in my PSN wallet and those don't appear to apply at checkout. Any PS GC I have used in the past puts the funds in your PSN wallet.

Looks like they removed the Edge and Portal from the list. That's a shame.

Looks like I still get a discount on those. Be sure to sign into your account, since the discount doesn't appear until I sign into my account with a PS Plus subscription.

I used chat to request a refund for the bad discount earlier, since it is fixed for new orders. I got a link to the chat by doing a web search for 'contact playstation direct'. Hopefully they are able to fix the pricing.
