The covers do not make any indication on their labels or in the care instructions that they are machine washable, suggesting using a damp clean cloth and to "professionally clean if needed". That said, the materials do feel like they're strong enough that a gentle or steam cycle might be fine, but not something I am going to try until I need to.
The color is very light grey, the photos are fairly accurate. I have a 70lb Bernedoodle who has hopped on and off to sit on them and I'm not too concerned so far. The seating is more firm than plush (but plenty comfortable to my 6' 175lb frame) and the material stitching is dense enough that I don't think his claws are going to accidentally puncture or tear anything. Attempting to attach photos.

Back support was my largest concern ordering the couch sight unseen as well. The frame is indeed low, but the seat cushion is firm enough and the rear cushion thick enough that I don't find it uncomfortable, and the rear cushion ends right about at my shoulder. That said, it's absolutely low enough that you can throw both arms over the side if you're ~6ft. If you're looking for something you can lay your head and neck back onto in an upright position, this isn't it. Photo attached.

OP, I read some of the reviews on this sectional and I came across the post below by Costco. Looks like you can get some free replacement legs which have a non-skid surface for your new sectional...

We noticed your comments about the sectional pieces coming apart to easily and wanted to share that the customer service center for Aiden & Ivy now stocks replacement legs that have a better non-skid surface. You may want to contact them for a set of these, free-of-charge, of course, at [email protected]. We hope this resolves the issue for you. Thank you for your Costco membership!

According to a review, no hooks and they slide around the place. Though the manufacturer responded saying they use better nonslip legs now in their update

Hey OP, you can buy couch connectors from Amazon. Some are designed to be drilled to the couch pieces or there are others called couch clamps that you can wrap around neighboring couch legs.

Just buy zip ties from Harbor freight, or a roll of hook-n-loop.

PS: One trouble I find with this new-age looking of sofas is low back support. Without a good, tall back support these are very uncomfortable. Yes, they look cool but no support. So you tend to sink in and find that the sitting surface now is too short... So, a sofa is like a luggage without a handle, just unsettling to own.

I bought two of these that were delivered Wednesday before they dropped the price another $200 and got them price matched.
As is often the case, they're at a higher quality than their price suggests coming from Costco. Every cushion (seat, back, and ottoman) is both unattached and their covers can be removed, with a heavy duty material layer inside protecting the padding. Time will tell but the fabric and stitching seems durable. Couch is firm but feels comfortable to me and I haven't had any issues with the pieces moving around.
Happy to answer questions.

Are the covers machine washable? Durable enough to withstand a dog?

How firm/plush is the cushion?

Rana short rib lasagna, also from Costco. Consumed far away from my new light grey couches.

How is the lower back support? As the comment above mentions, it doesn't seem to have a tall backrest, so you might tend to sink in. Have you experienced that at all?

I ordered Miracle Covers from Nolan Interior after I ordered the couch, as they've worked well for family. They're shipping internationally so I don't expect to receive them until closer to the end of Costco's promo price on the couches, but I'll report back on fitment on this couch when I receive them.
