I got a bag last week (did not subscribe) and for the price it's very good. I bought a bag last year and it had been on the shelf a long time, but this bag is fresh roasted. Good, but not enough for me to switch from Peets.

I bought the Kicking horse Kick Ass Dark Roast and I am really happy with it. I drink whole bean all the time, usually medium roast. The flavor is very enjoyable and I will buy it again. Better than most whole beans I've tried

Is this better than Dunkins? (I'm not a coffee snob as I only drink it for the caffeine.) I only do cold brew

I just got their decaf beans today. I made a pourover using a V60 and I ground the beans using my EK43 grinder. The flavor just didn't do it for me, very little depth and there was just something about the aroma that was offensive.

I keep falling these and buying too quick without realizing it's whole bean. I'm not interested in grinding coffee beans. Who is? Such a loud time wasting process. Just grind the stuff before you package it.

I am a whole bean user. My automatic espresso machine likes whole beans very much. Using ground coffee is a hassle. Illy Ethiopia is my loved flavor. But I also tried various Illy flavors, as well as Lavazza.

With the coupon the 35oz is 51c/oz. The lavazza super crema is 56c/oz so total is around 2$ more. I have tried both and the lavazza is my preference. (Bias bc I prefer medium roast).

coffee used to be 16 oz, then it went down to 12 oz standard, are we going down to 10 oz now with similar sized bags?

Most definitely better. You'll get a darker more bold flavored cup. Probably similar if you've ever gotten fresh batch of the Dunkin midnight (or whatever they call their dark roast) or a French roast from Starbucks.

Thanks! There are other coffee products that qualify for the 20% discount. I ordered Lavazza Qualita Oro.

Kicking Horse has long sold just 10-ouncers. I've got them in my Amazon order list dating back to 2015 alongside 2.2lb bag options. But yeah, always found the size curious.
