If I search on Amazon, there's a ton of random brand trackers that say they work with iOS and are a fraction of the price. Any reason not to use those over these?

If you have an iPhone these just work. If you want to wait for the v2 likely with the ultra wide band it will get better and the trackers will get cheaper or add the tech. Most people use AliExpress or similar sites but quality can vary greatly

Also I have my kids wear one when traveling using an airtag holder pin I got from Amazon and pinning it inside their shirt or pants. Also have airtags on every pair of keys. Hoping they eventually release an airtag card for my wallet
