It is very clear that if you order online you have to pay up front for 3 months at $60 each.

I ordered and I have that phone in hand. My order total was 90+tax few $$. $60 is showing as credit in my account.
If you don't do the homework, you won't make the deal.

I guess you are so wound up for some reason you are missing the detail. This is for existing customer, check it again.

Anyone having an issue with promotion not applying. I completed verification but the price jumps up after I select a plan ($55/ $65 plan)

Same here. It says verification discount applied, but in cart it jumps to full price. Tried multiple times

No, just for one month as required at the time of purchase and then disable autopay to not get charged for second month. Phone will unlock after 60 days of activation.

I don't know what you think you can accomplish by making stuff up, do you really like wasting peoples time just to make them miserable. Here is a screenshot from the Cricket website when you try to order, very clearly showing you have to pay for 3 months.
