Why is this front page when it's $125 at metro with port and first month?
This has better unlock policy

It's not obvious? What's the unlock policy at Metro?

Generally, a number can't have been active on their system for 90 days.

I am almost to the 60 day mark. I can't wait to get rid of this iPhone SE 64GB.

Is it telling you the number is not allowed? Or is it sending a code and you are not getting it? There are many posts saying that the verification texts are blocked by T-Mobile carriers including Metro and Tello. I used a Google Voice number to get past that screen. Someone else said they were able to stop the blocked texts by sending HELP to 611611 on the Metro phone, but not sure if that is accurate.

its some blocking at metro, not by TW. Called TW and they said no difference at their end.

I hope these carriers are better than Lyca mobile, they're the worse. They would put you on hold and tell you they're checking while they're chatting with their friends and then hang up on you. Multiple times that happened to me. No supervisor to escalate to. Always tell you to email them with other non-standard problems. Email takes more than 3 days turn around time and they will ask you stupid questions like authentication when all the info is in the original email or tell you that the information doesn't match their system. And the worse part is you cannot remove the credit card from their system on the phone, they refer you to the online account or app and it won't let you remove autopay or a credit card without adding another credit card. Only way is to cancel your credit card and get a new one. The will then put port protection on your numbers so you can't port out. When you confront them with it, they will denied it. Only solution is to file with the FCC and BBB. Then go on social media and tell the story. Needless to say, it's the worse experience ever, especially when I had all 4 of my family's phone numbers ported to them two weeks ago. Stay away from Lyca.

Number needs to be active to port & Google voice has a $20 charge to port in.
