cricket website notes the $30 iphone promo is for new customers, since you're already a customer they may give you trouble with eligibility... if they don't this may the simplest & cheapest option for you to get IP13*. Also cricket has 6mos of active usage requirement [cricketwireless.com] for unlocking. You need to figure out the unlock code for Cricket (call them and ask for the code) and make sure there is no "lock" on your number to prevent porting to another carrier while speaking to the rep

TW $149 is actually $200+ as you need to maintain $60 plan for 1 month min. If porting a "disposable" number (GV) there's little risk in not renewing after month 1, as they'll likely hold the number hostage.

I just tried as well after seeing this post but mine are still locked.

I bought a 12 back in the late august deal of last year.
I just powered it on and it's still sim locked.

I'll try to reset and hope it triggers the unlock

edit: it worked!
I had to fully reset the phone in order for it to show no sim restrictions

I highly doubt Visible, Total, Metro will pass off refurbished as new. General thinking is that iPhone 13 are still being manufactured by Apple but sold directly through MVNO. I am sure the battery health in these phone will be close to 100%. Again someone can argue batteries got replaced.In the end, no way to be sure of it though.

Apple only discontinued the iPhone 13 about 6 months ago (September 2024). It stands to reason that many third party retailers would still have brand new stock. Not sure where you think they stopped making them many years ago. Up until September 2024 you could buy them directly from Apple brand new.

These are new phones, never have been activated before. When you input their serial numbers on Apple website, it tells you that warranty information will be available once the phone has been activated( powered on and connected to the internet). Please don't make things up.
