Anyone having issues activating the phone?
NVM I had to call CS to successfully activate the phone. Waiting for google to compel port

Sweet. If you don't mind how did you approach the CS with unlock request? I only paid for 1st month like you and concerned if they will ask me to pay for 2nd month as well because if the policy change that everyone is mentioning.

I had to contact CS because I couldn't active the phone online, it will asked me to buy a plan or enter a service card for it. So I told CS I was charged for the first month of service, so she was able to look it up based on the order # , but never contacted them about unlocking the phone. Hopefully it unlocks after the second month

So I just checked and my phone is on day 61. No unlock but upon clicking the ttfw unlock portal I was prompted to enter my info and said phone was eligible and case was created. Will wait and see.

EDIT:

Phone 1, no instant unlock but was unlocked after submitting request via portal.
2nd one not eligible and was asked to purchase another month.
Both activated on Feb 14th. Same order.

That is correct, only difference I see that I never texted Unlock on the one that did not. Rookie mistake lol or could be the actual culprit.

The Total Wireless activation system and their website is the absolute worst. Got a few of these deals and every single time I've had to call in and deal with their Filipino or Indian call centers. A local Total Wireless store confirmed there are no Americans I can talk to. One deleted the wrong line on my account and the account and phones are now DOA. They also happily charge my card but cannot reactivate my phones with that charge. Spent 3 hours with customer service today and every time they do something they make the situation worse. Avoid this company like the plague.

activated on 2/14, just tried putting a different SIM card in there and found out it's not unlocked. I only paid for 1 month of service and just put it in my drawer. what can I do now?

You probably will need to purchase another month but I'd contact support first just to see what they say, different reps seem to be giving different answers - maybe you will get lucky.
