I assumed the the dissolvable packs were made of cellulose or gelatin. Is dissolvable plastic really a thing?
Yes, everyone knows these things are horrible. Liquid is still cheaper and better, and if your machine auto-doses liquid its even more convienent to use. Of course a liquid container is like a few once of plastic too. Cant avoid it.

Just an FYI. I used to use Persil liquid but switched to pods and realized I must have been using too much liquid because the pods last considerably further.

Good deal until you realize that this is yet another source of micro-plastics that ends up everywhere including our organs.
These aren't Tide Pods. You're not supposed to eat them! EEK!

of course not.. and even if you did manage to digest some of it , your expelling it in the toilet it is not like your organs are harboring this stuff.. These folks are probably the ones that believed if they swallowed a piece of gum it would remain in your intestines for 15 years.
Studies suggest that our organs do indeed accumulate micro plastics. Gum is very different. It's macroscopic and it's not water soluble so your body has an easy time expelling it provided you don't swallow sufficient amounts to create an intestinal obstruction.

Thanks for that info! I wish I could get that, it's cheaper. But these are pods and my area is very small and tight, the liquid has no place to sit, and it spills all over. If that doesn't happen the kids knock it over. Have to stay with the pods for now :
i just bought my first set of laundry sheets that are all of the solvents minus the liquid. So far so good but I accidentally got the unscented. It looks like a box of dryer sheets so make sure you don't mix them up.

This is off topic but does anyone know if Persil universal the powder would remove mold or mildew?

Anyone know what detergent is good to remove mold or mildew from mattress protector or bed sheets without needing to presoak? Talking about using a laundry machine for this.

You only need 2 oz per load. I mark my lids and use that much now

I think you'd need to soak in vinegar or peroxide but you can't get rid of the staining (that I'm aware of)
