Bought one of these a year ago and the transmitting didn't work at all. Returned it. It's a "frequently returned" item. Would recommend skipping this.

Thank you! That's why despite these fake "deals" I continue to come to Slickdeals because of user feedback.

I bought one of these as well for airplane use. It seems to work fine most of the time but connecting to it can be kind of annoying. Once you get it going it seems to hold the connection though. Used it for 5 trips or so

Stuff like this is always super janky. It only has 4 stars out of 10,000 reviews. That's a bad rating. When it's that many reviews and it can't get 4.5 stars, it might as well be 1 star. Connection is the biggest issue with these things.

Did you experience any sort of lag? I got another brand and the delay in lip sync kinda sucks. It might be the same with all of these but not sure?

I know it says that on the product website but I literally just paired mine to Air Pods Pro 2. I'm ordering another one for the wife.

I bought one for flying and it worked perfectly with both sets of AirPods. I suggest pairing at home ahead of time. Gonna buy a second one for my wife
100 percent. Pair it at home first. The directions are pretty simple but if you don't know exactly what to do, you will have problems. I took a picture of the directions as well.

The range is also fairly limited. You can't go very far before it loses connection. But it does work and it's great not having a cord get in the way when you're eating or someone needs to get past you.

Keep in mind that Bluetooth's over the air has delay. It takes time for the signal to be sent and processed. If you are in any low latency situations, any Bluetooth transmitter that does not send in the appropriate Low Latency format will have an issue. The receiving device must also support low latency. It's likely, listening to music will be fine. Watching a movie could be an issue and certainly it won't work for any kind of recording playback. Be aware of this before purchasing or you will be dissatisfaction.

For sure, pair the things up before you get to the airport or are on the plane. When you're pairing on the plane you're competing with everybody else's BT.... one flight I could not get my headphones to pair for the life of me, I always have extra wired ones for cases like that

Also... I've noticed BT in general has audio/video lag which can break lipsync, I found it irritating, not sure I would bother if you're trying to watch videos + BT audio

So my 2014 era car only has phone call BT, no audio. It does have a jack I could plug this into... but then I have to pair to THAT BT and I lose my phone capability? I've not had luck connecting to more than 1 BT device at a time on my android phones.

I have a roku 3m projector with built in speaker and audio jack but it's not that great. Would this work well to transmit audio to Bluetooth speaker?
Yes, but you will probably have a noticeable delay in the sound. I don't think these cheap adapters support low latency mode. Your BT receiver would need to support it as well.

I'd imagine you would run both music and phone calls from the adapter. Unless you don't mind changing input each time. Your phone can pair to both.

That makes no sense. As long as the reviews are real, the larger the sample size, the more accurate the rating.

I would lose the car's microphone on calls and would be shouting at my phone over road noise, if that would even work.

I heard that the audio sync can be off. Did you notice and issues?
