I wasn't going to post this because there's only ONE date but I think this is a "not normal" fare (I don't want to trigger alerts so iykyk). Since there are 2 flights out to London (LHR) from New York (JFK) for $59, one-way available, I decided to post it. There's an AM flight and a PM flight. Go get it if you want to travel spontaneously. Unfortunately, the return fare is not the same. This is just a one-way posting for $59 and you can use points to return

These are basic blue fares that allow a personal item and a carry-on bag.

Book direct on JetBlue Airways [jetblue.com] for travel tomorrow only, space available.

This is not a price mistake, it's a part of Super Bowl specials they're running this week. Of course $59 fare to London attracts attention, but it only works for people in NY area who can drop everything and go. Wouldn't even work for those who need to find a positioning flight, unless you can drop everything now and go.

Virgin Atlantic has been running really strong award promos lately, heard of people getting economy tickets from US airports to LHR for ~ 8000 - 9000 Virgin points + $70 in tax in May / Sept. I've booked Premium Econ during peak summer dates (July) for 16500 Virgin points + $100 in fees, Econ would have been 12000 Virgin points + $70 in fees. While not $59, I'd say these Virgin fares are close enough to not have to jump through hoops and just plan a trip and go. Purely a marketing play by JetBlue here.

Dead/sold out. 9PM flight is not even showing up for some reason
If you've booked, don't forget that you need an ETA (electronic travel authorisation)

it came back, and I've just booked the evening one...

Now the goal is to find some accommodations on points and something back from Europe to NYC on miles with low taxes.. BA taxes are always crazy
