Not that I have noticed. Generally a very slim and good looking monitor to me
i just got this monitor and have been trying to use it! Would you mind answering a few questions for me?
1. Do you use another monitor with this or just this one?
2. I am using a second non 4k monitor and i notice that in my video calls, it seems like someone is "fast forwarding" when they are talking. It's as if my monitor is getting stuck and than speeding up - has this ever happened to you?
3.It also feels like my wireless keyboard is lagging for some reason - do you experience this at all?
4. Kind of funny, but with how tall this monitor is, i find that i look a bit silly on camera because my external webcam is so high ontop of my monitor. Do you have to use an external webcam too, have you noticed that?

I really appreciate your help!

Happy to pitch in!
  1. I use another 4K monitor - Dell S2721QS (almost the same as this one) at the same time. So two 4k monitors hooked up with a single USB-C to 2x HDMI hub
  2. This looks like the computer is struggling to render frames. 4k can be very demanding especially on older hardware. I use a MacBook M1 (2021) and a PC hooked up to a RTX 3080 graphics card. Both fairly recent hardware capable of handling multiple 4K monitors. I would assume that if I had weaker hardware I would run into lags and stuttering. What is your hardware?
  3. Perhaps the computer is struggling to process inputs with all the added workload
  4. I don't use a external webcam but I have a 3rd LG monitor which is also 27" and 4k that has a pretty similar size profile to this one

Thank you so much for willing to help! I think that's the only thing i wonder too is if my computer can't handle it all?

The computer i am using is a ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 8. It has an integrated memory card i believe which is, "Name Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics" and says adapter ram is 2.0gb in system information. It is a 13th gen intel core i7-1365U 1.80GHZ with 32.0gb of ram.

Do you think the integrated graphics card is too slow to run a setup like this?
Dell S2722QC, Dell 2219PH, and a portable Wuawe 15.6 inch usb monitor via usb c? I did try to remove the portable monitor and the Dell 2219PH and still noticed the issue. Embarrassment

I really appreciate your help as one of my dell 2219ph monitors went bust and i was looking for a replacement and saw this one and was hoping I could do 4k.

I just ordered this and every few minutes the monitor flickers goes black then back on. It's not a HUGE deal but enough of an annoyance that I'm thinking of returning it. Anyone else having these issues?

Usually a signal issue...depends on your computer and whether it can support the settings. May need to change some settings on the monitor itself too.

Install BetterDisplay and see if that helps. I had some issues with my 2721QC's and that fixed them all.

If you're using the included USB-C cable then you can try replacing it with a Thunderbolt 4 cable instead since you're using a Mac

I bought the OWC TB4 cable (was $14 during Thanksgiving) -- no problem with this monitor and M4 Mac Mini

Thanks! This solved the issue. Pretty much the Displayport is crap on the monitor. So now I'm running two cables into the computer which is annoying but atleast it works.

If the computer is stuttering, lagging or slowing it should be a the way the ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 8 behaves. It seems this laptop defaults to 4k 30hz for some reason in some situations. Have you tried connecting to the monitor using a USB-C cable? If that doesn't work try the monitor with a different computer.

yes! recently i just tried using the "display port cable" that is included which looks more like a USB-C. Can you help me understand - are these cables the same? My idea of a "Display port cable" is the ones that look more like an HDMI cable so i am confused by this new technology. I am a little worried since the monitor comes with 2 HDMI ports and 1 USBC/Displayport - what will I do if the displayport breaks or goes bad.

I will say, connecting the USB-C/Displayport has made the issue a lot better. I do notice my laptop which is always in clamshell model has the fan running a lot more - so I am still unsure if it is okay to use this monitor all the time if i am overtaxing my laptop or something. Embarrassment
