Last 3 times I travelled out of EWR, CLEAR took longer than TSA Pre. Unless it's free, I don't see the point of this, especially since they are always short staffed at EWR.
Sick bro
Clear is not worth it. TSA pre does the same thing but for cheaper plus its in far more locations and for $120 you get global entry which clear does not

LAX at AA terminal is horrible. Understaffed and employees just chill there. There's no stanchion or line queue. Precheck is def faster.
I used to fly into LAX for an annual conference in anaheim - actually just last week. Had the opportunity to fly in/out of SNA instead and it's SO much better. LAX is a clusterfark and puts you right in the middle of traffic regardless of where you're going.
Did anyone get the $75 Uber credit and if so, how did u receive it? Was a renewed member and had the offer at check out and have not received anything since processing about the $75 Uber credit. The receipt and transaction also shows nothing

Good luck! CLEAR wouldn't pay out the Uber credit when I signed up. They wanted to referral email. Waste of time. Never registered for clear because the system wouldn't scan my ID after numerous attempts at the airport. It was a complete waste of time.
Right but I'm talking about the first class / frequent flyer line. Without Pre-Chek x-ray screening takes longer than the identification screening so getting to the front of the economy identification is still slower than priority because of security screening.
Who's flying first class with any frequency without having pre-check though? and if so, why?
Depends on your home airport really. If you live near a major hub then it's probably more useful than if you live near a spoke airport. All clear does is bypass the line to get past credentialing, whether Pre or not. It doesn't get you past the actual screening. So if your airports don't typically have long credential lines, clear lets you skip no one.
Also there have been times where I've seen the clear line longer than the TSA Pre line, even the line to get to one of their machines.
agree 100% on airport! I go out of midway. Most people I have ever seen in a clear line was 8 and that was during xmas travel..
Certain cards include $199 clear plus credit, but if you do not have those cards then this is not worth it.
it is not worth it..TO YOU. With the number of flights I take a year, I would happily pay for the convenience of cutting to the beginning of the TSA precheck line..

The deal was to get Clear Plus for free via card credit, but if you did not have certain cards then it's not free. I wasn't talking about whether Clear Plus was worth it or not.
Email who? Uber or Clear? My Amex already paid the $199 charge, so I am not out any money right now, but the whole point was the extra $75
