I've only had to use them a couple of times, but had been wanting a set with metric and standard sockets and the Packout box is very convenient for storage. I'd recommend them at this price, very solid set. Never tried one of these pricing hacks, though.
I guess it makes sense if you own a 1/2" impact (why switch to another tool), but the high or mid torque out even the stubby is going to obliterate stuff!
