Ditto. The workaround is.....go into payments and "transfer" balance of one gift card to another subway gift card.

Unfortunately it means that you have to actually HAVE another gift card, but at least this way you don't have little slacker gift cards left Smilie

Went to the Lexington Ky store and signs had the regular price and it rung up regular price at register for the 5/$20 card (had them scan the placard card). Good deal if you can find what the OP posted

I used to have the same problem. The issue is that the app wants you to first pick a payment source that will will cover the entire amount before it will let you apply other payment methods. It simply won't accept you picking a gift card as the initial payment method if it's balance is less than the total amount due.

Try this - add a credit card in the app and pick that as the initial payment source. Before checking out, select your gift card as the payment source. The app should then display that it its going to use up the $6 and then take the rest from your credit card. Hope this helps.

OK, this is not on the subject but since we are talking about app payment method I have a question.

Is it possible to use subway reward dollars and a promo code in the same order in the app? I used to be able to but recently it does not allow me to do so. When there is a promo code present the redeem reward dollar box is grayed out.

Yes, I've always been able to do this and just tried it in the app with 2 footlongs and the FL1299 code and was able to add the $2 in rewards with no issue.

Also...this thread is a disaster. What it ought to be is just a listing of states in the summary where people have confirmed this deal is or isn't happening.

PS - I just was at my Costco in the Richmond, VA area, and they only had $20 x 5 for $79.99, not $60. Boooo
