I LOVE these and highly recommend them. While they still have a bone-conduction mode you can enable (I think it's called classic mode or something), they're now basically just speakers that point towards your ear so the vibration is gone and the audio is higher quality. They're also USB-C now.

Ahhh! Really wish the Pro 2 mini is on sale too, head too small. 🙃

I have been using Shokz formally AfterShoks for 8 or more years.

The Best Warranty and return policy in the market. One time purchase basically lost you 4 years ish. I always get a warranty replacement right around TWO year mark.

I haven't tried the latest version yet because I am on the previous version and just got warranty replacement about 6 months ago.

This is a great price for a great set of Listening Device which will last you about 4 years.

Just don't expect Bass! I highly recommend this to anyone.

So there would be no warranty on those? They're open box…

These are open ear not open box.
There are genuine people who don't like things to be stuffed in their ears lol

Does anyone make bone conduction headphones anymore? Seems like this is false advertising.
These still have bone conduction, it's just not enabled from default.

I find them to be inferior to the Pro for this reason. The sound is better but much more difficult to hear without having to turn way up whenever there is ambient noise.

So...does that mean the bone conduction aspect isnt actually there?

If I'm not mistaken, the Standard EQ mode (the default) on the Pro 2 is air conduction plus bone conduction. You are correct that the Classic EQ mode is just bone conduction (the air conduction is shut off). The main distinction between the OpenRun Pro and the OpenRun Pro 2 is that the Pro has bone conduction only, and the Pro 2 has both bone and air conduction.

At this price point do you suggest this or the OpenRun SE or OpenRun at $75.

I'd say go with the SE's for $75 at Costco.
