I think you're referring to the old model. This states it's the 2024 version. Not a lot people know this, but Microsoft updated their headset last year. I do agree $2 off MSRP isn't a great deal, but again, bear in mind this is the 2024 version and not the old one you're referencing with the $60 price point.
The newer version is more compact and includes free Dolby Atmos, which otherwise costs $14.99. It also supports connecting to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously and offers a 20-hour battery life.

The old one had all those features too. I have it lol I believe this one just improved like the mic , the audio and such. So it's an upgrade but not something huge
This one is the new one so 99 is not normal price. $110 is normal price for these

i would buy hyper x over these. about the same price. Have had 2 fail at exact same spot the break were they attach earcups to bands. plastic is just to thin. And I am not hard on headphones.
