I hope this comes alive again in the next few days. I received the first order for 5 yesterday. I placed another order for 5 more today. And if I'm lucky, it will come alive again and I will buy 3 more for a total of 12+1 so that I have a spare. Hopefully my Synology DS3622xs+ will take them. Smilie

That's a nice setup. Please let us know what drives they end up being. I ordered a couple myself, hopefully they're exos like others have reported.

And now Unavailable, not just Sold out.

Interesting that I got an available notice email at 7:46 AM CST 2/18 and then again at 12:03 AM CST 2/19.

(But what do I know about HDD logistics, especially in response to y'all filling up NASes. Big Grin )

Availability seems to fluctuate by the second. I watched it go from in stock, to unavailable, to in stock again over the course of like two minutes.

Seems to be available again for me. I was able to order two, though the delivery estimate is well into next week which is much slower than it showed on a prior order.

And available again when I just checked. The roller coaster continues.

Fill up those NASes!!!

(I wonder when the sale will end, as it is a couple days past Presidents' Day. And there isn't an expiration date listed.)

FYI, the 26TB sale ended today, was $299.99 now back to $349.99 even though it is still Sold Out and has been for quite a while.

Will the 24TB soon follow???

Please let us know if the shucked exos 24tb worked in your Synology. I planned on using these exos when it arrives in Synology NAS.

Thanks! Smilie

I had no idea these were exFat. Anyways I also notice it has another small 200MB FAT32 partition. What should I do about that small FAT32 partition?

on the more recent 24TB thread, there are reports of people getting barracudas instead of exos -- via crystaldiskinfo.
can anyone on this thread confirm?

Why not wipe the drive and use the filesystem of your choice? I would suggest against using any form of FAT, unless you absolutely have to.

Just schucked mine and it's a barracuda.

Has Barracuda sticker. I'm sad.
