It has USB PD for connecting your laptop, and full KVM functionality for up to three USB ports. Also has SPDIF output, so if you have a desk desktop dac then it will switch audio when you switch the video.

Driver update is easier. Download the driver file on the official site then windows device manager > monitor > right click your monitor and update driver.
Probably will have to do both firmware and drivers.
