Wow. paid quite a bit more on AliExpress. This was a pretty fun and quick build. Looks pretty good out of the box even without varnish or panel lining.

The eyes and matrix lighting up is pretty cool too. Turns on with a magnet so you don't have to disassemble it

I was wondering on size and complexity - found this video showing assembly and a quick modeling at the end. Amusingly, the aliexpress link given is $10 more expensive than this WalMart price, lol.

I paid full price (via Amazon gift card). The whole Blokees lineup is so much fun and well engineered across their four scales (Galaxy Version, Defender Version, Action Edition, and Classic Class).

There is an Action Edition Megatron coming soon, too; however, it is available from overseas now.

As a follow up, I got this Action Edition mixed up in my brain with one of the medium sized blockee releases. Opening the Walmart box this morning, it is much bigger, way more pieces, and I couldn't be happier. Way better deal than I thought it was and I already thought it was good enough to grab one. 😁

This is a must buy if you're a transformers G1 fan! Bought two. Took about 3 hours or so to build one (not rushing) and my lawd is it splendid! It now takes center stage in my hall of (Optimus) primes!
