It's black so it qualifies as tactical. Now it matches my black tactical turtleneck.

It uses micro USB instead of USB-C? Seems like an odd choice...

Would have gotten to keep in my car, where I already have a USB-C charging cable for my phone... but don't wanna deal with having to keep track of another type of cable just for this flashlight.

EDIT* I should clarify, the picture shows micro USB.

At this price is it's worth the risk. I haven't gotten a crappy energizer flash light yet.

The charging port on the flashlight is USB-C.

I bought this 3 weeks ago for this price. I've had decent luck with the Energizer branded 18650 headlamps in this price range, so I took a gamble on it.
The charging port is usb-C. There's a flood and a focused lens, each are operated by their own respective button, but both can't operate at the same time. It's basically the same size as my Olight Arkfeld, but 3/4" longer and the clip is only one direction (tip down). The magnetized end is definitely handy.
It wouldn't ever be my own first choice, but is worth the $13 if you want something you can hand your kid and not care as much if it gets lost or as a cheap light to keep in your car.

Except for its small size (which affects its self-defense capability), this flashlight seems to satisfy most of the requirements for a tactical flashlight.

1. Rugged built.
2. Water resistance
3. High brightness levels with multiple modes -- esp strobe and/or SOS.
4. High brightness level with the ability to momentarily blind an individual.
5. Long battery life.

the only thing i don't like about these rechargeable flash lights. they don't warn you before they run out of power. no power gauge, and they don't get dimmer they just go off.
