The GV will initially show ok but then not go through.
People have been using $5 Visible lines ($25 - $20 referral code for first month).
Yes, it will show Verizon. You need phone number, account number, port-out PIN and ZIP. Text FOUR to 611611 and the four digits should match the last four of your phone IMEI/Account number (15-digit). The ZIP code is the one you entered when you activated the phone (for a new number, or you can check it by logging into your account on a browser). Text NTP when you're ready to buy iP13/port-out to get your 4-digit PIN.
Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before I can buy through Metro again? I bought a similar deal last fall (for the iPhone 12), then just didn't renew the monthly plan.

EDIT: I guess Metro doesn't have much of a time limit between when letting your account expire and placing new orders because I just placed an order for this ip13 and it's only been about 3-4 months since I let my previous metro plan expire. Also, I placed the order just minutes after creating a visible account and porting that new visible number over to metro.

Can I port my number back out again immediately after receiving the phone?

I already have a Metro line with a crappy old phone. I'm thinking of porting in my "spare" line from Total, getting the phone, then porting the number over to Visible or somewhere else. I'll use this phone with my primarily Metro number.

I have tried with mint, gv or tracfone numbers. For all, the price of the phone changes to $480 in cart (total with $75 plan: $555 before taxes).
Not sure if I am doing anything wrong or this is store-only
Mint is also from T-mobile, that could be the reason why it couldn't be used for port-in. However Tracfone is from Verizon, I wonder why it didn't work.

BTW, was there any good deal before using iPhone 13 for trade-in? I am using iPhone 13 now so I don't need another one, but if it can be traded in for a decent phone, it may worth $75. Thanks!

i want to get this for at least one of my parents (theyre on iP6+ and iP8). They are already on visible so this requiring a port in seems suitable. My concern is what to do with these for the 11 months that they remain locked to t-mobile. Does t-mobile have any affordable and non useless $35 or less plans, to switch to after the first month, to make this worthwhile?

Tracfone works for me. Should show Verizon once you enter the number.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but Metro charges a $50 fee if you change within the first six months of your phone plan

In the disclaimer:

Here's how it works: Sales tax applies. You'll need email & ID (to verify your name & address) to sign up. Heads up—if you want to move to a less expensive rate plan during the next 6 months after getting this deal, you'll need to pay $50 to change plans. Qualifying port-in required. An activation charge of $25 may apply in-store. You can get deals on up to 4 lines. This is a limited-time offer and, like everything else in this crazy world, is subject to change.

Can you just stop paying after the first month? Fine print says you'll have to pay an extra $50 to switch to a less expensive plan if in the first 6 months. Not sure what that means if you just stop after the first month

Turn off autopay and let it lapse. Better yet, use a privacy.com card and pause the card.

Mint is T-Mobile so that won't work

I just picked up the Samsung S25 for $98 out the door from Spectrum. I guess once it unlocks I can port the number over to Metro but I really don't need another iPhone 13 (have 2 already).
How? Trade in?
