No, it's the 2023 edge plus unlocked from boost.
Ok and what service are you using on the phone to order? Boost mobile data or home Wifi? I heard that matters.

Turn off autopay and let it lapse. Better yet, use a privacy.com card and pause the card.
So even if you only pay for one month of service you can let the phone sit in a drawer for the remaining 11 months without any service and it will be automatically unlocked on the 12th month?

Yes, and some say the old 6 month policy still works randomly. Most are trading these in to Apple for $235-250 or for other deals.

For some reason when I'm logged into my SD account I can't see any comment newer than two hours, including my own replies to other comments, so I was thinking my reply didn't go through but then I signed out and looked at the comments and I can see all the latest comments from the past two hours, I'm not sure what's going on, I've never seen that before

Call the metro port department and cancel your port in request 1-800-518-7519. Then wait 3-4 days and try again. Their ordering system automatically restricts accounts from ordering too many promotion priced devices that fall off automatically after sometime. More devices you successfully order the longer the wait between being able to order again.
Do you know how long their policy is on waiting between device orders? I got four phones in September-October.

$75 plan meanwhile I'm paying $20 on mint mobile
To explain, you can buy the phone and keep the plan for 1 month and just cancel it. I did this a couple years ago with a different phone. The phone can then be reused on a different plan that supports any other GSM network that's compatible with TMobile towers. That's actually includes Mint. After 365 days, you can unlock it to use on any wireless carrier.

Mint & USMobile (Light Plan) are good alternatives. I've been using USMobile for only pay $10/month for 2GB. But if you're smart, you can bounce back and forth between Mint & USMobile and take advantage of new customer promos.

placed an order and got the charge, but shows i need to call metro to place the order since there was an error. tried again and now it says my number can't be ported when i click check eligibility. got an email from visible saying port over is in progress though. any idea if it'll actually go through?
it didn't go through if there was an error. I believe your port number is on hold now. You will need to call Metro to cancel the port and re-do.
