EDIT: I guess Metro doesn't have much of a time limit between when letting your account expire and placing new orders because I just placed an order for this ip13 and it's only been about 3-4 months since I let my previous metro plan expire. Also, I placed the order just minutes after creating a visible account and porting that new visible number over to metro.

Can I use a Metro by tmobile phone like this on Tello immediately or is it locked to metro for the 1 year?
some Android phones work on T-Mobile from day 1. ex: moto g stylus 2024, samsung s series.
Ideally i would like to buy it with a virtual credit card, then i would just cancel the card don't have to bother canceling the plan at all once im "in the clear"
