The GV will initially show ok but then not go through.
People have been using $5 Visible lines ($25 - $20 referral code for first month).

Yes, it will show Verizon. You need phone number, account number, port-out PIN and ZIP. Text FOUR to 611611 and the four digits should match the last four of your phone IMEI/Account number (15-digit). The ZIP code is the one you entered when you activated the phone (for a new number, or you can check it by logging into your account on a browser). Text NTP when you're ready to buy iP13/port-out to get your 4-digit PIN.

Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before I can buy through Metro again? I bought a similar deal last fall (for the iPhone 12), then just didn't renew the monthly plan.

EDIT: I guess Metro doesn't have much of a time limit between when letting your account expire and placing new orders because I just placed an order for this ip13 and it's only been about 3-4 months since I let my previous metro plan expire. Also, I placed the order just minutes after creating a visible account and porting that new visible number over to metro.

If I am not planning to keep the flex plan why not port out to different carrier rather than stop paying from next month?

From the T-Mobile news room:

"Metro customers win too … starting Friday, February 28, customers can bring their number to Metro and get iPhone 16e on Us when they join Metro Flex Up or Metro Flex Plus, after 12 months of service credits — that's $599.99 in savings! — plus, all the goodness that comes with being a Metro customer"

Pffttt, sorry, but I'm not going to be on Metro for a year for a "free" budget iPhone 16e. Nope, nope, nope.

The 16e ain't free. They will give you credit for 12months. So, you'd have to stay with them that long to get those credits for that 16e. Lol

Can anyone confirm if they're able to add a line while a phone is in transit (activated it via link provided in email) ? Do see the option to add a line but unable to add to cart after entering port in number.

Or have to wait until phone is delivered

I tested with the MKSD SIM from Aliexpress, and it unlocked. Can't speak to general reliability, but it did work with a Tmobile SIM using MKSD 5.7.

If 16e is free like 13, definitely wait for 16e. But where you see the 16e will be free?

the key words in the announcement that some people seem to be overlooking is "service credits." it will be "free" after you pay them for 12 months of service. in other words, buy a one-year service plan ($60/mo w/autopay) and get a free phone. based on my math, one year of metro flex up = $725. so the deal is that you get a year of service and an iphone 16e for $725.

The 16e at Metro will be tied to bill credits. Better to trade in the 13 (or multiple) and get an unlocked 16/16e from Apple unless you plan on being a metro customer for a year

yeah, like but that was probably more than a year ago since I moved away from Metro. Back then I got myself a Moto Stylus 2003 and 2 Galaxy Tab A9+ from Metro deals.

I received my 3rd and 4th iphones today. I can again see "Add a line" option. I might add one more iphone 13 line soon. Goal is to trade for gift cards to apple or bestbuy, and maybe get a Macbook Air M3 or Mac Mini M4. Always been on Intel+Windows system forever for more than 2 decades, and it would be interesting with switch to Mac. Currently on Dell G15 gaming laptop (intel 12500H with 16 GB RAM, 512GB SSD and GTX 3050ti) which I have always plugged into a 32 inch monitor, and using as a desktop (never gamed on the laptop).
Did you order all 4 phones under same account? Did you change anything with each order as far as names, shipping address, billing address, or credit card number?
