The GV will initially show ok but then not go through.
People have been using $5 Visible lines ($25 - $20 referral code for first month).

Yes, it will show Verizon. You need phone number, account number, port-out PIN and ZIP. Text FOUR to 611611 and the four digits should match the last four of your phone IMEI/Account number (15-digit). The ZIP code is the one you entered when you activated the phone (for a new number, or you can check it by logging into your account on a browser). Text NTP when you're ready to buy iP13/port-out to get your 4-digit PIN.

Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before I can buy through Metro again? I bought a similar deal last fall (for the iPhone 12), then just didn't renew the monthly plan.

EDIT: I guess Metro doesn't have much of a time limit between when letting your account expire and placing new orders because I just placed an order for this ip13 and it's only been about 3-4 months since I let my previous metro plan expire. Also, I placed the order just minutes after creating a visible account and porting that new visible number over to metro.

So I was finally able to order a tablet on an account that I had ordered 2 iPhone 13s. I used all same info, but added "Apt 1" to address (even though it is a house) and I ordered it from the actual iPhone using 5G data instead of WiFi. Order went thorough without any security questions.

So pretty much I have no use for the tablet and want to just sell it. What do I need to in order to sell it so the next person can use it on their account with 5G or just WiFi? Do we need to do any online activation of any sort? Can I keep it sealed and sell it like that or does it need to be powered up one time?

Also with this account now having 2 phone lines and 1 tablet line and the dates of activation/in service being staggered how does it work when the first line gets to 30 days and I have Auto Pay off will only the first line get suspended or all 3 lines will no longer work?

As far as i know it unlocks 1-year after activation. Since its not an esim but the sim technically needs to be inserted first i an not sure it will automatically activate. Technically they know when the device registers with tmobile the first time. Thus, wifi only if you sell or Metro only, maybe.

Regarding the account it all is tied to the first device. Once expired you cannot order more without extending service. So order or try to order a 3rd phone quickly.

Someone mentioned the tablets go for around $80. Once you deduct 3rd party site or paypal fees not much margin, might be better suited as a gift for the right person.

I see listings online for this tablet as brand new and unopened. So just wondering if the buyer would be able to use it on their Metro account if I never open it and power it up with the sim.

So how can we remove the device from account to be able to sell it before the 60 days? Since this account will get suspended after the first month when we don't pay for the phone lines for 2nd month how do we deal with the tablets since with phones I will trade them to Apple so no need to switch them out from the account.

I saw your post regarding holding down volume button to bypass when it asks for Metro sim so that way you can use a open T mobile line sim in the tablet. And your other post was with dealing with phone reselling with the 3 options.

So if I open the tablet (and go thorough the setup and bypass the sim step) then the next person can use it on WiFi, Metro sim, or Tmobile sim? If I leave it sealed and just do the online "Activate" once the order ships then the next person can do WiFi and also Metro (or not since the tablet line will still be my account)? Just trying to figure out how to unload the tablet the right way since the phones I will do trade in.

ok you're confused with my post:

to use A9+ wifi only and dont want any metro bloatware. Press and hold vol down when it ask for sim during INITIAL setup.

for trade in, do nothing.

for sale and let other can activate on metro, do any of these

option 1: swap device
option 2: port out to cancel line and acct
option 3: call to cancel (expect for a lecture)

I get that for trade in of "phone" we do nothing (just have Auto Pay off and let line expire). So "for sale and let other can activate on metro of "tablet" (not phone) are those 3 options still viable when dealing with the "tablet"? Does the tablet also have a phone # and IMEI in order to switch? If did nothing with tablet and just sold it as is (unopened and sealed) then it can only be used as a WiFi by the next person..is that correct?

I did not do the "Apt 1" trick before..I was just using different devices and addresses and credit cards to place order. Every time I got the call to metro page after submitting order. Then I just added the "Apt 1" to address and all other info stayed the same and it worked. Probably the "Apt 1" is now used up so that is why it is giving an error now. May need to change that "Apt 1" to something different and try again. Are you ordering directly from one of the phones on the account and using 5G instead of WiFi?

I got one on 9/23. Will see if 6 months is still a thing.
Please update with that info later this month! I'd be curious. I got in on the Metro deal in early October.

Since 13 is out of stock I was tempted to get the iPhone 14 for $100 but I think I'll get the SE third generation for free with port from Metro with $35 added line
I feel like the iPhone 14 deal online is better than going in store for the iPhone 13 with all the potential fees, reports of paying tax on the full price of the phone before discount, possibly having to deal with a rep adding on an insurance plan or whatever that one would have to cancel later...the $99 iPhone 14 would probably be a better use of time and money. The iPhone 12 is also OOS online (at the time of this writing) but if it came back in stock, it might be worth considering.
