Of course I find this out when I am at work.

Edit: Not seeing it in my app. One would think they would have it as an offer for locations in a federal minimum wage $7.25/hr state. I do see a $3 breakfast sandwich offer though, which would be equivalent to a state with a minimum wage 3x the federal sigh

it's a deal/offer. They also have the option on the menu as well for that one, but the choices for the menu option are limited whereas the deal/offer is basically anything but steak items.

My local mcdonalds does not offer the $1 breakfast sandwich.

Not if I was given 40 hrs a week, health insurance, 401k match and a pension. Of course, jobs like that would be hard to come by and you definitely would have to live with someone to be able to save any, if you made that much. I would think low end government jobs had to be paying that in the past because well, it is federal minimum wage.

This brunch hour I went to redeem my Smokeshack deal from Shake Shack and then I thought to myself, why not stop by McDonald's and redeem an any size fry deal with purchase of a drink? So I opened up the deal and found that one of the fry size options was on the McValue menu.

My question now is, if one gets something off the McValue menu and uses it under a deal, does that not become a slick deal?

I essentially did not pay for the small fry ($2.29), got it for free and purchased a large Sprite for $1.39 (all sizes are $1.39).

all sizes of soda for same price was during summer time only. i havent seen this price for awhile. my large sweet tea is $2.79. could be regional at this time?

All sizes in my area are $1.39 for the soft drinks (except for a new size introduced, xtra small for $0.85). Sweet and unsweentened, all sizes are $1.39 as well (except for xtra small is $1.00). From the deal I used, they have another size called the senior size. That size, I think, is $1.00 (I will have to verify tomorrow as I used the deal and it only comes up with that deal). It basically has more calories than the xtra small and small, but is cheaper by $0.39 from the small size.
Edit: The senior sweet tea size within the any size fry for free deal is $0.70. The senior size is 100 calories. The extra small has 90 calories and the small has 120 calories.
