Denon makes pretty good receivers (amps) but I've never heard any of their speakers.

I really wanted to like this as my sister has an older Denon Soundbar/sub kit that sounds phenomenal for the price but when I tested it at Best Buy I was severely underwhelmed. Its too bad as it looks great in person.

I love the Denon brand, owning a AVR-940 and AVR-750. I purchased a previous version of this (I think it was the 216) and the sound was good for price/size. However, it kept cutting out and I would lose sound. Actually, come to think of this, that is the reason I ended up with the Denon 750. So yes, sound is good but I think there might be better options.
