As with all Tello deals, this can be combined with a referral to get $10 Tello dollars to use in the future. And if you don't really need 35GB, you can downgrade after month three. Tello makes it easy to change each month, so you don't have to pay for more than you need. And while it doesn't work for this plan, if you have a fixed amount of data/minutes, you can rollover unused units by manually renewing a day before the autopay.

!!!Warning!!!: They operate on a 30-day billing cycle (28 days in February), effectively shortening the billing period and costing you an extra month every four years. Over time, they steal 5–7 extra days from you per year. I'd recommend considering an alternative.

No HD voice calling. With the high speed data, the browsing is not good

I was deciding between us mobile and tello.... us mobile customer service was far superior and available 24/7... I didn't like Tello's cs response so I passed on them for good
Funny. After switching from Tello to US Mobile, we will be switching back to Tello as soon as the annual plan on US Mobile finishes in May.

Bad performance, and customer service makes excuses why it's bad even when native Verizon phones are very fast in same area.

If you had bad performance in your area, you do realize they are the only company that allows you to switch to different towers...

This is not unusual in the prepaid world, and Tello clearly explains the 30-day month, so it's hardly 'stealing'. Mobile X, UltraMobile, LibertyWireless, GenMobile, at least some US Mobile, and undoubtedly many others, also use the 30-day 'month'. (Per plan details on prepaid compare website.) Doing otherwise makes people question why they got a couple of days 'stolen' in February. (Tello does not do both: your february payment includes 30 days). The difference between 30-day 'months', and billing on same calendar day, is 5 days usage, except in a leap year, so the difference is an extra month every 6 years.

Customer chat lines:
Visible: you are invisible, so your #50 in the queue 🤣
Tello: Slightly better, so your #25 in the queue
US Mobile: Mucho better, so your only #2 in the queue.

yup i usually rotate between these 3 and mint mobile.

Visible $25 a month, but verizon is slower than tmobile in my area.
Tello $25 after 3 month promo.
US Mobile $25 unlimited starter (after free 1st month) ($17.50 if willing to be locked in for a year)
mint - $15 unlim 3 month promo (like tello) but then goes up to $40 per month. Have to pay in 3 month installments.

Absolutely!! I'm looking elsewhere for this very reason!' We paid twice last month! This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. For anyone on a budget you can't plan for this

How can I get this yearly plan on Boost? I'm already paying 25 per month but no hotspot, I couldn't find any way to pay yearly for any plan.

I looked at Boost's plans and they recently removed hotspot altogether from their $25/month plan. Now it's an add-on. My apologies for the error.

The last time I used a T-Mobile MVNO with deprioritized data (Mint about 5 years ago), it was unusable. I switched to Google Fi about 4 years ago and have had zero issues, even overseas. Unfortunately, it's very expensive compared to many other MVNOs. Tello and US Mobile are both deprioritized, so I can't imagine dealing with that again.

US Mobile has an annual plan with hot spots. Comes out to around $18/mo.
You can pick which carrier you want too, cause they have sim cards for the 3 amigos- Att, Verizon, T-mobil.

Tello is great for seniors who just need a simple cheap phone plan without tons of data. I have my mom on a $8 calling plan that still includes a small amount of data that she never uses.
