Unfortunately t mobile charges $30 extra on phones (apple sells ip16 for 800 and t mobile for 830.
T mobile also asked for $35 connection charge.
This extra $65 surcharge makes it less appealing ☹️

Last year we got iPhone 15s at Costco. I went to a T-Mobile corporate store and gave them our iPhone 11 trade ins. I made sure the employee printed out all the documentation and give it to us, lol.
also, you qualify for a costco/sams card when you upgrade through them. it's about $75
I'm thinking of doing this deal. I have a simple choice plan and an old iPhone 12. but I'm still debating.

Tried asking the s10e seller for the IMEI up front but no response so this makes things a bit trickier in trying to find a old phone to trade in.
Playing around with the t-life app, it also seems to require IMEI of the trade in before being able to proceed.
The tmobile folks at costco said theres no indication of a end date on the promotion so this leads me to think that this promotion could end at anytime.
