Unfortunately t mobile charges $30 extra on phones (apple sells ip16 for 800 and t mobile for 830.
T mobile also asked for $35 connection charge.
This extra $65 surcharge makes it less appealing ☹️

The 16 will be better than the SE 4 in the long run.
I could see the SE being offered for free with trade-in on most plans since it will retail for less than $499.

You're not getting a free iPhone. I've been paying $15/month for 5GB+unlimited talk/text for over 5 years. At these prices I can buy a new iPhone outright every 2 years and not be stuck in a contract.
