You can go thru Costco or Sams club if youre a member. Saves you the $35 fee and you can earn up to a $100 gift card for upgrading.

Seems like Simple Choice does qualify and gets you up to $500 trade in value.
Unfortunately t mobile charges $30 extra on phones (apple sells ip16 for 800 and t mobile for 830.
T mobile also asked for $35 connection charge.
This extra $65 surcharge makes it less appealing ☹️

Sam's Club gave me a sheet that has the promo info on it but when enter the promotion code on the sheet and put in my line and click submit, it just says "Sorry something went wrong, try again later". My phone "shipped" this morning (it just shows they printed the label on UPS). Do I need to wait until I activate the phone or something? Can anyone else who got theirs at Sam's confirm the promo code (240003) on their sheet?

It's showing $300 trade-in on apple.com, how and when did you get it for $350? Also, this is weird about locked phone, I thought fully paid phone bought from apple are always unlocked.

Upgraded to an iPhone 16 Pro at Sam's Club, trading in an iPhone 14 Pro (128GB). Received a $290 trade-in credit immediately and a $630 promotional credit ($14.16/month). Paying $27.60/month for 24 months after bill credits. New phone arrives in a few days, plus I'll get the $75 Sam's Club gift card for the upgrade in 3 months.
Did you get your promo code to work on the promotions page to get the $75 gift card? I get an error when I try to submit the promotion.

Upgraded to an iPhone 16 over the phone with Costco. Didn't have to wait on the line, a rep answered immediately. The call lasted 51 minutes. He did offer me some screen protectors and cases but wasn't aggressive in trying to upsell accessories or services.

I have magenta military plan 4 lines. one of the line uses IPHONE 13 PRO, Tried the upgrade for IPhone 16 PRO 250gb and it shows only $500 upgrade promo not $650
why you think you're entitled $650? it's $500 for your plan unless you have military magenta max.

What plan did you have and did you get the $100 costco card?

If I want to trade in my phone at a physical T-Mobile branch location instead of mailing it in do I also have to purchase the new iPhone through T-Mobile as well or can I buy the new phone at Costco then go to a T-Mobile branch afterwards and drop off my old iPhone?

I would love to trade in my daughters iPhone 13 mini and keep my 13 pro max but her back glass is shattered and I'm not sure if they will take that 😭

I get split answers in my research. Some say as long as it meets the criteria of 1) no damage to screen 2) find my turned off 3) no water damage 4) no money owed then it would be approved as a trade in, others say it would be rejected.
I just did that no issues.

Seeing as 11's are the oldest model accepted, I'll hold onto my 12pro and hope for a comparable offer next year and that the 12's will be the oldest accepted for trade in

Yeah you can buy it thru Costco and drop the trade in at a t-mobile store. But they won't be enthusiastic about it because they are on commission and don't make any $$$ for doing your trade in.
