Unfortunately t mobile charges $30 extra on phones (apple sells ip16 for 800 and t mobile for 830.
T mobile also asked for $35 connection charge.
This extra $65 surcharge makes it less appealing ☹️

Oh yeah, I don't know if you can use those to pay or not for sure. I would say no. I had the phones I was trading in with me so they did a code on the phone to connect and get the IMEI. I did notice the option to put in an IMEI so you might just need that. Just be sure to state that you don't want the protection plan unless you want it as they put it on all mine without asking.
When I try to do it on the app, the credit is very clearly mentioned so I'm am skeptical that the store person actually chose the right promo.
Seems sus if there's no proof of the credit.
