I'm a homeowner that's fully in the ridgid environment. If I wanted to have a tool from another environment I'd have to get a charger, battery and tool combo to start.
On a budget it's hard to take that big of a bite even if it is on sale.
I've tried to use those printed battery changers that let you use different batteries with tools. They don't survive long though since they are 3D printed.

There is also the mid-torque unit (not on sale) that might be better for standard lug removal (if that's your primary use case). It's lighter at 3.5 lbs vs 5.72 lbs before batteries.
