Thanks, I got one last time and LOVE it and ordered 3 more. I noticed this is the Hotel version. Here is what I found on JBL's site:


HORIZON 2 vs HORIZON 2 HOTEL
Support Overview / How To / HORIZON 2 vs HORIZON 2 HOTEL

These two products are identical. The only difference between them is...



HORIZON 2: out-of-the-box is set to HOTEL OFF



HORIZON 2 HOTEL: out-of-the-box is set to HOTEL ON



On either unit, to toggle HOTEL mode ON or OFF, press and hold Alarm 1 and Preset 1. The LCD indicator will show the HOTEL status, ON or OFF.



The unit will retain this setting, even when unplugged. The only way to change the mode is to press and hold the two buttons again. Or course, a Factory Reset will also restore to the original out-of-the-box setting.



When HOTEL mode is ON, these are the following changes that occur.



Alarm can only be set for a single day.
Alarm will ONLY work as a buzzer.
A Room Number can be set.
A Max Alarm Volume can be set.
Bluetooth cannot auto-reconnect.

I think the second comment mentions you can change it from hotel mode, where the
Alarm can only be set for a single day

It'd be cool if it was portable. Portable clock speaker would be pretty sweet.

Especially if it had voice activated timer/stopwatch since google assistant took that feature away (the stopwatch)

Dude, holy shit, you just changed my life. This was not anywhere in documentation. This thing has been driving me nuts with no radio alarm capabilities. Thank you, GOAT

I picked up an Insignia one from Best Buy a few years back. It has a battery and Google Assistant, so i can take it outside with me, if needed. Its been a great portable clock speaker. When i tried going back for another, i found out that they were pulled form the shelves, so i got lucky when i found it on sale.

Both units were broken upon arrival, in different ways. Nothing to do with hotel mode. Returned each, bummed.
