Avoid polyester socks always, make your feet stink because they don't breathe well like cotton

This is not true for many people. The reason polyester works for athletic wear so well is because it's moisture wicking, quick drying, and durable. If you're prone to sweaty feet, sure, these aren't going to be great. 🤷🏽 ♂️

Nah. He's right. Also, polyester is only being used bc of the shortage of cotton. That's why you see it everywhere now.

Always, definitely not. You need to think outside of your little bubble. The utility is conveniently right in the brand name here...running in cotton socks, for example is a horrible idea as it retains moisture which can cause blisters and discomfort. You need a material that draws moisture away such as poly or wool, for example.

Don't go making any logical sense, now...the simple folk can't handle any use cases or data points outside of what they think they know.

Polyester has been the standard for activewear for decades. And again, polyester not working for him, doesn't mean it doesn't work well for others.

Yeah because pro athletes use 100% cotton socks and clothing. 😂

Where is the sweat going to "wick" to if you're enveloping your feet in athletic shoes or sneakers?

I guess if you're wearing a polyester shirt you may see this "wicking" property in action due to exposure to air.

Another thing being completely ignored in this warring thread is that polyester retains smells like craaaazy.

Your feet are going to smell like an absolute cesspit while they "wick" or whatever it is you're buying this recycled plastic for.
