This is tempting, but I got burned by Elegoo on the Neptune 3, when they released the Neptune 3 Pro 6 months later and all firmware updates on the 3 stopped entirely. The Marlin and Klipper community never had an officially supported config (it's been a while since I checked) due to garbage documentation of the board they used.

Lots of people raised this issue on Reddit, Facebook etc, and Elegoo pretty much said too bad.

Hard for me to trust initial releases after that, especially when a lot of "reviews" thus far are from paid YouTubers.

Just my 2 cents.
This is not a resin printer; it's a FDM printer that uses rolls of filament. Here is a link that explains the differences. [formlabs.com]
I found you can use promo code SASE10 to take off another $10. Helps take the shipping cost down.

What is this worry-free purchase option they throw into your cart for $7.69??

Whatever it is I'm not getting it. If there are problems I'm going to have PayPal take care of it.

I have an ender 3 pro and my kids are getting interested in printing. I would like my next printer to be multicolor and focus on creativity. I have thinking about Bambu P1S.

Would this printer be an upgrade with multicolor capability? I don't see an option for chasing multicolor for this printer.

I have been interested in getting into 3D printing but know nothing about it. Say I had a plastic fuse box cover for my Camaro and the tabs broke off. Is there a way to "scan" the shape in to recreate one? Or do you have to have a template or something that the printer recognizes?

Per Elegoo, multicolor printing will be available some time this year via an AMS or whatever they choose to call it

A 100% different experience. Assuming you don't mean the mini delta, the standard mini is a "bed-slinger" which is out in the open, and the part moves back and forth during the print. This machine keeps the part relatively stationary, only lowering it away from the print head. This results in a more stable printing experience with faster speeds and lower failures. You'll have access to more materials, and even older materials like ABS or PETG will be easier to print with due to the enclosure limiting the variables of the environment. You'll also benefit from a lot of quality improvements in general from when the mini hit the market.

Thanks! Looking forward to trying this one out!

Any suggestion for a good 3D printer for us to get started. Nothing too fancy. I want to try first before splurging on a good printer.
If you are new to 3D printing - completely - I'm not sure i would start with a resin printer, unless there is a specific reason you want to do so. I would start with an FDM printer; like this. Less mess and less (potentially) hazardous. If your going to start with FDM, and you like to tinker, I would get a kit printer (something like Tronxy, etc) so you learn how things work. If you don't like to tinker, this printer might be a good fit, but eventually, you will have to maintain, repair/replace things. Its still a mechanical device, and things will wear out.

This will be my first pre-assembled printer; I've owned a few FDM kit printers... my first was an acrylic tronxy bed slinger, then a anycubic kossel plus, and my last kit printer was a Tronxy X5SA-pro. A few years ago i purchased a QIDI TECH Shadow 5.5 S MSLA printer (resin) and it works well, but I don't use it much just because of all the post processing, the mess, and the smell. Its good for small - high detail things, but they are FRAGILE!.

I like to tinker - but sometimes you want something that - JUST - WORKS...
A kit printer is like having that hot-rod in the garage that you like to wrench on and tweak - but you still have a daily driver that is reliable. when the hotrod breaks down, you need something to use to go the the store and get what you need to fix the project car. I have parts i want to print to upgrade the X5SA, but I'm at a point where I need a printer to print the parts for that other printer. Nothing like being half way though a mod, just to discover you need to tweak something, so now you need to undo everything you just did.

I wish it was a 300x300 bed. I love the large bed on my CR10 and I don't think I will be happy with a 256x256. Any leaks on what Bambu will be releasing this year?

Well almost every bundle is sold out already. Wondering how much longer this will last at all.I went ahead and pre-ordered just the printer... I'm wondering if the bundles come back in stock, if we can cancel a pre-order and place a new one. I really wanted to get the FBT bundle but obviously I waited too long.
I had to do the same thing; I cant even order extra nozzles or beds yet.
