Runs my home fridge for about 7hrs on a full charge. Then takes 1hr for my generator to recharge it.

Did Amazon accept your return or Ecoflow offer a refund? I never heard of this before. I have the delta 3 plus, but bought the delta 2 because of the superior cooling and delta 3 tend to overheat under heavy usage...my use case will be a sump/ejector pump too. 1/2HP little giant rated at 9.3A 120v
Amazon does not accept the returns as stated in the listing due to Lithium Ion batteries. You do need to connect with EcoFlow customer support but they have been great to work with.

Thinking. Can you charge this thing using your car? I mean while you are driving. Charge this thing up so that the car doubles as your charging station???
Yes. My delta 3 plus lives in the back of my car. It comes in handy when I'm offroading and need to have all of my aux lights on. The alternator charger not only puts out 800watts of charging to the battery (assuming your car alternator can keep up), but on the flip side when you need the ecoflow to power your car, you go into the app and tell the alternator charger to send power to your car battery. It's useful when airing up my 4 tires (when you offload, you usually deflate your tires to protect from punctures, and it makes for a smoother ride). There are other brands that make an alternator charger, but the ecoflow charger allows you to reverse charge. If you find it on sale it's a deal.

I get that...I wanted to see what the individual did to fix the delta 2 issue and upgrade to a new model of the delta from the 2....hence the question about returns

Got it. I hope they respond. I do know that EF does have a trade in plan. I do not know what the trade in amount is for the Delta 2.

It's the Delta 2 Carry bag-- but if you add it, you can't get the maximum discount with the coupon above. The price when adding the free item with the discount code (with tax in michigan) ends up being 438.xx instead of 415.xx shipped. So it may still be WORTH it for you to add the bag, if you are ok paying an extra 23 or so dollars for it.Benefit item link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BDL5JHWR/
I ordered the Delta 2 completely forgetting about the free item until i looked at the deal again. Since this is sold by EF direct, i messaged them via Amazon telling them i forgot to add the carry bag and provided the order number. A day later they replied saying the bag will be shipped free of charge. Might be worth a try.

Was this during the current sale, or the one a week ago?

Tell me more of the situation. I just order this hoping to use it for my sump pump in the basement which goes off once an hour if not more. I had bought it with the express idea of hooking it up to the pump and when power goes down, it auto kicks over. Are you telling me I'll destroy the unit doing that?

what model did you switch to?
I use mine just for camping and backup for power outages, but it is my understanding that rebalancing the batteries once a month is needed in order to use it for a sump pump. After I heard about that, I do it on mine twice a year. Basically, running the unit to 0% then charging to 100% rebalances.

I bought this on Feb 15th, then when i noticed the free item i reached out to them on feb 17th and got a reply later that same day saying they would ship the carrying bag for free and a few hours ago and earlier today around 6pm cst i got an email from them with the tracking number. Being that the Delta 2 is still on sale as of the writing of this, im sure you can still submit the request for the free carrying bag now.

That's troubling to hear the D3P has inferior cooling than the D2. I know the newer model is reportedly much quieter, but is it because they use a smaller fan to reduce the noise? I was leaning towards getting the D3P with the intention of running a large continuous load but now I may hold off.

Hmm....just bought the ecoflow delta 3 premium 1500 from costco back in Dec for 6xx.xx. Does anyone know the real difference between these models other than the 1024 capacity on this one vs the 1500 capacity on the delta 3. I am still within my return window from costco, so debating if I should go with this one instead to save some money.

Just using it as a portable generator to power the microwave and lights for a travel trailer for 1-2 nights if I'm off grid
Have you used it for that scenario yet? I'm thinking about getting one for the same reason.

See, this is my fear with these things. I'm a set it and forget it (mostly the forget it part) kind-of-guy so buying battery backups like these will likely be bad for me since I'll keep it charged and forget about it til the next use or power outage.

I may just pull the trigger on a generator instead.

A warning about this specific model. If you plan to use it as passthrough "UPS" for high voltage loads, it will kill the unit within 1-2 months. I've gone through 5 of these thinking they were faulty but it just can't handle that kind of periodic load. My specific use case was that I had it hooked up to a water ejector that draws about 1200 watts for ~15 seconds when in use. The water ejector activates maybe 6 times a day. I don't need that hooked up to a real UPS but if I ever lost power, it's very important to have so that water doesn't get backed up into the drains.

I've since switched to a different model EcoFlow and it's been running for 6 months so far without issue.
Interesting, I was considering this for a sump pump backup, sounds like it wouldn't last. What model did you go with to power your high amp draw device?

If you're using this as a UPS, does it automatically restart after a long power outage where it ran out of juice? I have an Anker Solix that is absolutely perfect except this one major flaw: if it runs out of battery, when power comes back it remains off and you have to press two buttons to return power. A safety issue according to them :-(

There are very very few solar generators that do this, usually only high end whole house types. My work around was to set up an automatic transfer switch plug. It auto changes to grid power if the sogen dies or has issues (I use it 24-7 for my fridge so need to have power restored). I use the xantrex brand for the switch but any of them would work. It's about 75 bucks but well made.

I'm using jackery's for my fridge and freezer but I have the delta 2 as well and I have been super happy with it. I love the app rules so I can force it to use Solar only over X percent state of charge. Helps with my electric bill. Also it will do what the inverter claims. I have used this as a whole house (no 240v) on a transfer switch cause I needed to run my well pump and my generator died. It pushed out 1800 watts for a while. (I don't recommend this use case at all but I was in a pickle!)
