I need this game to be around $25 to bite. Hoping for a big drop by Q2 2025 or latest by Q3 2025.

If you could afford it right now, what games would you be putting down in order to play it?

Ditto. Plus some additional patching and perhaps one of the multiple promised dlcs may be out then as well. I really want to play this but I'm not making the mistake of getting Skyrim at launch when I never went back to it.

I'm not trying to be contrary here, but Skyrim is overwhelmingly considered one of the best games if not the best game in this genre of gaming. I would agree with your decision on waiting as it seems your taste in games is not aligning with the vast majority of gamers.

What I meant is that I didn't go back to Skyrim not bc I didn't like it but bc I was waiting for patches, mods and dlcs to arrive and never actually got to playing again. I'd rather wait for a more complete experience by delaying picking it up. I know I'm not the only one in that.

I'm actually finally making my way through the first game right now along with maybe 10 other games, so I'm not rushed at all.

Looks like you can get a better deal by using BOHEMIANPROMISCUITY.

I'm currently playing through this, paid full price, enjoying it just as much as th first. If you enjoyed the first KCD, you will certainly enjoy this one. If you haven't played the original, do yourself a favor and play that first before buying this. Either it's your cup of tea and the lore and references in KCD:II will be more impactful, or it's not your cup of tea and you saved $50.

Sure makes sense if you want the most complete experience, but this game is already amazing and has tons of content at launch (I'm roughly 50 hours in and not even halfway done). IMO it already has more content than Skyrim with all the DLCs. Also has very good graphics that seem to be optimized well, with very little bugs.

The way this game is selling, I doubt it's gonna reach $25 anytime soon. Do yourself a favor and play this now. Worth every penny.

Easy Game of the Year for me, no contest, I don't even care if gta6 comes out bc I won't be playing it until I feel satisfied with kcd2. The world is gorgeous and super reactive to you, there's a ton of ways to complete quests, which are all super interesting in my opinion, and I love the difficulty of the combat. It's just so immersive and so fun to grind up all your different skills and watch yourself get better at everything you do. I have 70 hours in the game and as far as "main story quest" goes I've barely touched the game. I have no idea when the game ends but I'm guessing I'm somewhere between a third and halfway through. I paused my game to write this comment and now I'm going back to the game. Easily worth the full priced gold edition let alone worth this sale price. If you're like me and picked up KCD1 for like $7 then it really won't hurt to spend $51 on this masterpiece and support the artists behind it

It most likely will drop under $30 within 6 months. These AA single player games lose relevance fairly quickly as people move onto the next big game. I expect that it will drop around 20 or 25 percent during the Steam summer sale and there even a deeper cut of 50 percent a month after on third party key sites such as CDKEYS. One of the only single player games that I've seen hold value in recent years is Baldur's Gate 3 which is considered one of the greatest games of all time.

there's no way this comes close to the amount of content Skyrim has.
